Transitional Kitchen Remodeling
This project transformed our client’s kitchen and adjacent spaces into a cohesive, transitional design that blends classic and contemporary elements. The goal was to achieve a harmonious look with updated cabinetry, elegant finishes, and functional features.

About this project
In the kitchen and coffee bar area, the cabinetry is finished in Mesquite Danish oil with a “Dark Walnut” hue and raised panel design. For the kitchen and island, Alder cabinetry is painted in a “White” shade, complemented by a Cashmere finish. The kitchen underwent a transformation with the new mesquite cabinetry during the refacing process, which also included switching from metal to mesquite glass doors.
The floor features an exclusive Wood and Stone tile: DAL Ardesia Light Gray 24×48 tile with a matte finish. The grout color used was custom shade, #165 Delorean Gray. Because this material is a porcelain product, minimal maintenance is required.
Why Ardesia?
Ardesia tiles are rectified color body porcelain created using digital print technology, giving them the look of natural stone which makes it very versatile as it
compliments both contemporary and traditional spaces.
Piece to piece variation in shade or color are inherent in all fired clay products; therefore, it is recommended to mix tiles from several boxes at a time during installation to achieve the best range of color.
Choosing the "right" tile
By incorporating The Icon Series into the bathroom design, we achieved a stylish, durable, and functional look that aligns with the blending of traditional and modern design elements characteristic of transitional interiors.
Porcelain tiles are known for their durability and resistance to moisture, which is especially important in a bathroom setting. The tiles we selected offers both practicality and style, ensuring that the tile not only looks great but also withstands the wear and tear of a bathroom environment.
